The department of catechism diocese of Thamarassery aims at integral development of the whole people through faith formation and moral studies. The basis of this formation rooted in the HOLY BIBLE and the Traditions of the Catholic ChurchThere are 1400 committed and dedicated catechism teachers together with their pastors work hard to achieve that goal The functions of the department is mainly based in the parishes .The catechetical formation in the parishes is monitored and guided by a meghala committee and the whole formation programmes are  co coordinated and controlled  by the department of catechism which function at the pastoral centre of the diocese (PMOC)We cordially welcome all our well-wishers and formators to the site so that we hope and pray that it will bind us together to think and act properly.
